Raghubir Mahaseth is a member of the CPN - UML. He was elected as a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2065 BS from Dhanusa-5. He was an active legislative member and was reelected as a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2074 BS from Dhganusa-4. Mahaseth served as the Minister of Water Resources and irrigation in 2067 BS and as the Minister of Transport and Physical Infrastructure from Falgun, 2074 BS to Mangsir, 2076 BS.
