Mahantha Thakur is the president of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party. He was the Deputy Speaker for the House of Representatives from Asad 16, 2047 to Ashwin, 2051. He has been elected to the House of Representatives twice. Thakur is the former Minister of Environment and Science Technology.
