Shanta Chaudhary is a politburo member of the CPN - UML. She is a former member of the Constituent Assembly, 2064 BS. Chaudhary served as a lawmaker under the proportional representation system for the party. She also served as the Chief Whip for CPN - UML in 2075 BS and as the Constituent Assembly chairman of Natural Resources Committee 2065 BS.
