Akabal Ahamad Shah is a central member of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party. He was one of the 26 members nominated to the Constituent Assembly by the Council of Ministers in 2064 BS. He was renominated in 2070 BS. Shah served as the Minister of Agriculture in 2068 BS.
