Mangal Prasad Gupta is a member of the CPN - UML. Gupta was a candidate in the Parliamentary Election of 2047 BS, 2056 BS and 2060 BS and in the Constituent Assembly Election of 2064 BS, 2070 BS and 2074 BS. So far, he has only come close and failed to ever secure victory.
