Chitralekha Yadav is a member of the Nepali Congress. She formerly served as the Deputy Speaker for the House of Representatives, 2056 BS and the Minister of Education, 2072 BS. She is also a former member of the Federal Parliament, 2056 BS.
Yadav is currently a member of the Health and Education Committee.
