Narayan Prakash Saud is a central member of the Nepali Congress. He was elected from the then Kanchanpur constituency-1 in 2053 BS. He was also elected in the second Constituent Assembly in 2070 BS from the then Kanchanpur constituency-2. Saud served as the State Minister of Education and Sports in 2058 BS and Minister of Irrigation in 2070 BS. He relayed various parliamentary responsibilities as a member of the parliamentary committee.
