Ramesh Rijal is a central member of the Nepali Congress. He won the 2049 BS elections and the Mid-term election of 2052 BS. Although Rijal lost the 2056 BS election, he won again in 2064 BS. He lost the last two elections in 2070 BS and 2074 BS.
